The funny thing is, I haven’t even touched the realm of “clinical pathology” , that deals with every single fluid test we can do on the body. It’s pretty shocking the amount of stuff I’ve had to learn, now that I think about it.
Exactly! It’s such a satisfying diagnosis to make because we know that the patient is going to feel a lot better in short order. And to think for decades the diagnosis was probably missed.
It is a huge amount if information you have. There is so much to know. I’m researching my illness in a new direction. I’m having a rapid heme panel, lots to learn in a different direction.

My father thought he had an ulcer and was in a lot of pain. Then he was diagnosed with h.pylori and tools antibiotics for about two weeks and was fine

I quite love the story about how it was finally classed a definitive organism after the Dr tested it on himself to prove his theories!
