It is adrenal gland. The tumor looks like adrenal adenoma, but it has lesions that look like hemorrhages or cysts filled with some kind of mases, maybe necrosis, which does not look benign. Differential: some kind of weird adenoma or adrenal carcinoma.

The hemorrhage is a distractor in some ways. I was a little worried about this lesion when I saw it but it’s so incredibly well circumscribed AND small, that adrenal cortical carcinoma can almost certainly be eliminated without even looking under the microscope. ACC is usually huge when discovered. However, an autopsy would be just the thing to uncover such a fast growing tumor at an earlier stage, if the person died suddenly for some other reason.

Looks adrenal. And I would guess benign bc it appears encapsulated.

My first thought is ovary and ovarian cyst. But I am not even beginner level, so I’ll mosey on off to the side 😂

Benign yes, but ovary….it’s just the wrong color. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen an ovarian tumor that is this color. Most ovarian tumors are gray-white.
