This was originally supposed to go out on Friday morning (I'm packing for a trip), and the solution post is scheduled for Saturday. Thank you.

Okay. I don’t think this is correct bc the ecchymosis isn’t exactly right…but Grey Turner sign? From acute necrotizing pancreatitis. However I don’t know how anyone with that would not call 911 for help bf they died of it!

And I’m guessing the spot on her lower back is related… I know Cullen Sign appears around the umbilicus…but maybe it can appear posteriorly too?!?

It’s looks only like livermortis, but I know that’s too easy.

My other guess would be ecchymosis from a AAA. Can’t wait for the answer. Travel safely!

Safe travels!

Can’t say that I’ve ever seen something like this, so I’ll be awaiting the solution post. My best guess would be some sort of hemorrhage…? Or necrosis, but the skin looks intact. Safe (and healthy) travels!

ok i'm guessing Skin necrosis with black-colored eschar. Whilst i do think she has been lying there for a good few days, i think a different mechanism potentially caused this. I think she possibly had an infection/sepsis which can cause death due too multiorgan failure. Could it be a result of uncontrolled diabetes? which also can cause death. Manner of death would be natural!

It looks to me like livor mortis, dark purple so maybe more than a day. Has the body been moved as gravity and pressure would have caused this to be opposite.

Im not sure at all but my guess is this is extreme lividity possibly due to entrapment? I.e. maybe she fell and got trapped in some tight space?
