I didn’t think I was going to be able to actually put this post up today, because I had a lot of work at the end of my week, and to be honest I am exhausted. However, I have enough energy this evening to put up a case.

A 45 year old woman was found dead at home without signs of trauma or foul play. There was no well-known medical history other than obesity, for which she was known for trying anything and everything to lose weight. An autopsy was performed although no well-defined anatomical abnormalities were seen. As we do in all such cases, a full microscopic examination was performed. The following was observed:
