Fantastic photos! Being in Arizona we didn't see anything. I remember both of the other eclipse events. It wasn't impressive here in either of those years. Sheesh, all you kids in 1984. I was at work and didn't get a chance to see it. 😕

Well done Dr!

I saw the footage from all the people at the Indianapolis motor speedway…is that far from you?

Quite the emotional moment and a great moment for mankind. Proof of God.

IMS is about 15-20 miles from where I live. I didn’t go down there because I knew it would be packed. I stayed closer to my house and just went to a park .

Amazing photos glad you got to experience it! The one thing i'd love to see is the Northern lights! My husband got to see the Northern lights in the Badlands in South Dakota!

My kids went to Wyoming with their uncle to see the one in 2017. I too remember trying to see the one in 1984, I don’t remember if I had special glasses or not but I do seem to remember I was in school when it happened. I was 8 yrs old. Yes, I’m that old too.

These pictures are fabulous. I was totally moved by this eclipse. I have to research what animal behaviors were affected. That fascinates me. Watching the people on tv become so emotional as they watched hit me. I absolutely want to see one of the next ones in person. I could have driven north to just get in the totality zone in NH, Vermont or Maine but it was too far for me to go alone right now. Thanks for sharing these pictures.
